Can you see the stars from our area?
STARLIGHT is a project that will involve, in 6 different European countries, 60 young people trained or being trained in the tourism sector and operators with experience in accompanying tourists who want to acquire new skills. The aim is training on astronomy, biodiversity and light pollution, to enrich knowledge and turn it into a concrete job opportunity.
During the project, participants will be asked to attend webinars, take part in a hackathon to develop an innovative business idea in this field, build a box of experiences to propose to tourists and, finally, learn how to tell the story of our skies.
The project is part of a number of important ongoing transformations, such as the need to develop new quality tourism products that are sustainable for local communities and the environment, and the enhancement of experiential tourism offers that include observing dark skies, where one can admire the stars without light pollution.

Intensive seminars
