Can mobility also be sustainable?
The Cuore Dinamico (Dynamic Heart) project has set itself the goal of reducing the use of individual cars in mountain areas by strengthening intermodality and information on the territories.
Work has been directed towards the identification of innovative solutions that maintain effective connections between territories and make internal mobility smoother for businesses, residents and tourists alike. With Cuore Dinamico we intend to develop alternative and sustainable solutions, first of all analysing the needs of those who live the territories every day and creating a dialogue with the realities present.
LAG actions
Mobility Hub Study
We have started a process to encourage interconnection between different mobility services, particularly in the municipalities of Avigliana and Pinerolo, through a study on the creation of Mobility Hubs, places for interchanging different vehicles in the project area.
In addition, we are working on the coordination between NCCs (rental with driver) and public and private entities to foster greater collaboration between the different actors in the territory. The objective is to improve the transport service for tourists and residents who need to move quickly or reach areas where public transport does not arrive.
New charging wall-boxes
Change comes through cycling. We have collaborated in the realisation of services for cyclists at places of interest and along cycle routes, in order to promote soft mobility by bicycle and at the same time enhance the different points of the territory.
New recharging wall-boxes will be installed on the Italian territory of the project in order to support e-bike users in a practical way.
Awareness-raising for sustainable mobility
Inform to innovate. Through the project we work on raising awareness among citizens, schools and businesses on the importance of using non-polluting vehicles and green opportunities in the area.
